The Bragging Club is privileged to welcome Col (Dr) N K Chhibber (Retd.) to its Advisory Board—an eminent soldier-scholar whose life and work exemplify service, intellect, and nation-first leadership.
With a distinguished 34-year career in the Indian Army, Col (Dr) Chhibber is a proud veteran of the Sikh Light Infantry, one of the Army’s most decorated regiments. His decades of service shaped a deep, ground-level understanding of military leadership, operational preparedness, and the evolving realities of national security.
An accomplished academic alongside his uniformed service, he holds a Doctorate from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, where his thesis on Sino-Indian Strategic Relations offered nuanced perspectives on geopolitics, defense diplomacy, and regional power dynamics—bridging theory with lived operational experience.
As a member of the Institute of Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), Col (Dr) Chhibber has authored numerous articles on strategic and security issues. In recent years, his focused work on Ladakh and the Northern front has provided valuable insight into the shifting strategic landscape and its long-term implications for India.
His association with The Bragging Club is especially meaningful in the context of Operation CIVIC (Child Inspired by Values, Integrity, and Commitment)—a national movement aimed at shaping future-ready citizens by nurturing character alongside competence.
